Roskomnadzor proposed to amend the criteria for evaluating materials and information, which are the basis for including sites in a single register of prohibited information. According to the draft order, from March 1, 2024 to September 1, 2029, information will be prohibited about methods and methods for ensuring access to resources and networks, access to which is limited in Russia.
Such information is not only a description of actions that allow you to access blocked sites, but also any information that encourages, convincing or substantiating use of such methods and methods. In addition, it is forbidden to offer or provide access to programs that allow you to bypass locks. Among the criteria is also indicated the availability of information that provides the possibility of accessing access, including by “downloading computer programs” to resources or networks blocked in the Russian Federation.
The exception is scientific, scientific, technical and statistical information about methods and methods for ensuring access to limited resources and networks.
