Hackers Leak Acronis Data Online

Hackers have reportedly leaked internal data belonging to software developer, Acronis. According to the telegram channel In2SecURITY, the hackers published a data array, which contained various certificates, command magazines, system configurations, magazines of system information, archives of the file system, a Python script for the Maria.db database backup configuration, and many snapshots of backup operations.

If the leak is confirmed to be genuine, the reputational and security risks for Acronis could be severe. The company specializes in data protection, backup, and restoration of virtual, physical, and cloud media.
