Ubisoft collaborates with police to curb toxic gamers

Ubisoft, known for Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six and other large franchises, decided to radically fight excessively toxic gamers.

as reports BBC, the UBISOFT Customer Center concluded an agreement with the Northumbry Police, according to which employees law enforcement agencies will be able to intervene in special cases to restore order.

The agreement lists the extreme cases when a threat to life is detected or potential serious harm is possible. In such situations, Ubisoft employees will be able to immediately transmit information about the violator to the police. Then law enforcement agencies will decide what to do next. As specified, the intervention of law enforcement agencies is required in less than 0.01% of the cases that the center is engaged in. Usually there is enough chat or account.

ubisoft notes that if there is an agreement with the police, to deal with extreme cases more effective and safer than trying to do this as a private company.

, as an example, the representative of Ubisoft spoke about the recent incident in Norway, when “things were said and the behavior that reached our threshold for intervention was the threat of life or serious harm.” The agreement with the English police made it possible to quickly respond to the situation. English law enforcement officers quickly contacted the Norwegian, who took up the solution to the problem.
