Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that to call Russia a “quiet harbor” for hackers is irresponsible, TASS reports.
“All this is an integral element of an unleashed hybrid war against us,” the diplomat explained.
Thus, a diplomat, commented on American sanctions against members of the allegedly based in the Russian Federation of a hacker group Trickbot.
Antonov recalled that a huge amount of cyber attacks fell on Russia last year. At the same time, 50 thousand of them were reflected. Most of the attacks were produced from American territories. The diplomat indicated that for cybercriminals more than the United States are a refuge.
Antonov also recalled that the joint fight against cybercrime is not being conducted now, since the White House has frozen cooperation in this area.
