The deputies voted, Friday, February 10 at first reading, article 1 of the law of amending financing of social security relating to the abolition of “special regimes” of retirement.

Article 1 provides that the main existing special schemes, including those of RATP, electrical and gas industries, including EDF, members of the EESC (Social and Environmental Economic Council) and the Banque de France, be gradually Extinction for people recruited “from September 1, 2023”.

As for the SNCF reform of 2018, these regimes will benefit from the “grandfather” clause, which means that their advantages will be deleted for new hires only. Current affiliates will be able to continue to retire earlier, but they will see a shift in their starting age, in the same way as other assets.

They will also experience an acceleration of the increase in the contribution duration.

The regime of fishermen, that of the Paris Opera or that of the French Comedy will be maintained, due to the arduousness specific to the professions they cover, as well as autonomous regimes (liberal professions and lawyers ).
