The new procedure for assigning students from the National Institute of Public Service (ISP, ex-ENA) was published Thursday, January 26 in the Official Journal, removing the very symbolic outing classification. The executive sets up, as planned for students in the 2024 promotion, an assignment procedure aimed at ensuring “pairing” between the available position and the candidate’s profile.

The list of jobs offered will be available six months before the end of the training, each administration transmitting a file with a job description, recruitment methods and expected skills. In return, students will have to constitute an anonymous file presenting their professional project and their skills.

will follow a series of “towers” of recruitment, after which “all students” are intended to be assigned. Students in the Orient sector, predestined for a diplomatic career, will follow a separate procedure.

This decree signs the end of the famous “boot”, which allowed the best classified students to integrate the most prestigious bodies of the State, such as the General Inspectorate of Finance, the Council of State or the Court of Auditors.
