Rocky Linux 10.2, a free build of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, has been released and is now available for download. This distribution is binary compatible with RHEL and can be used as a replacement for RHEL 10.2 and CentOS 10 Stream. The Rocky Linux 10 branch will be supported until 2035. Installation iso images are prepared for x86-64-v3, aarch64, ppc64le (IBM POWER), s390x (IBM Z), and riscv64 architectures. Live builds with GNOME and KDE desktops are also available for the x86_64 architecture.
Similar to classic CentOS, Rocky Linux has removed Red Hat branding and eliminated RHEL-specific packages. For a detailed list of changes in Rocky Linux 10.2, you can refer to the RHEL 10.2 announcement.
