Network services provided by Canonical and the Ubuntu project have been disrupted since 19:30 (MSK) yesterday due to DDoS attacks, making the ubuntu.com website and security-related APIs inaccessible. The responsibility for these attacks has been claimed by the hacker group “313 Team”.
The services that have been targeted in the attack include ubuntu.com, canonical.com, archive.ubuntu.com, security.ubuntu.com, assets.ubuntu.com, ppa.launchpad.net, jaas.ai, maas.io, blog.ubuntu.com, wiki.ubuntu.com, developer.ubuntu.com, docs.ubuntu.com, keyserver.ubuntu.com, login.ubuntu.com, academy.canonical.com, portal.canonical.com, as well as the “Ubuntu Security API – CVEs”, “Ubuntu Security API – Notices”, and “Livepatch API”.
