STC IT ROSA has recently announced the release of the ROSA Fresh 13.2 distribution, which is built on the rosa 13 platform. This distribution, developed with community participation, is free to download and is targeted towards a wide range of users. The available builds include KDE 6 desktop (4 GB), KDE 5 (4 GB), LXQt (3 GB), GNOME (4 GB), as well as assemblies for servers (2 GB) and virtual machines (753 MB). In addition, the repository contains packages for various architectures including aarch64, e2kv4, i686, loongarch64, riscv64, and x86_64.
Some of the key changes in this release include the implementation of an application directory apps.rosa.ru, which simplifies the process of selecting and installing programs in the browser with just one click. Furthermore, a graphical interface has been added for configuring the GDM login manager and enabling automatic login. The installer now includes the option to install remotely using the VNC protocol, as well as the rpmgrab utility with a graphical interface for installing RPM packages. Several issues related to installation on RAID arrays and operation of SYNA3602 touchpads have also been resolved. Additionally, a button has been introduced in the Dolphin file manager to navigate to a higher level.
Similar to previous ROSA Fresh 13.x releases, this version includes updates to important components such as the Linux kernel 6.12, glibc 2.40, GCC 14.3, and Clang 19.1. Mesa 25.3, NVIDIA 580, KDE Plasma 6.5, GNOME 49, and LXQt 2.3 have also been updated to enhance performance and user experience.
