ZUCKERBERG WANTED ALL: FACEBOOK SPIED ON COMPETITORS

In 2016, a secret project named “Project Ghostbusters” was launched by Facebook with the aim of intercepting and decoding the communication between Snapchat users and its servers. This information came to light through documents that were made public as part of a collective lawsuit against Meta, the parent company of Facebook.

The project was a part of the In-App Action Panel (IAPP) program and its main objective was to analyze user behavior to enhance Facebook’s competitiveness in response to the increasing influence of Snapchat. Following this revelation, it is essential to note that Meta and its products are considered extremist, leading to their activities being prohibited in Russia.
