The coffin will arrive there in the early afternoon for a religious ceremony scheduled at 4 p.m. local time (5 p.m., Paris hours), followed by a funeral vigil for the royal family in the evening.

Previously the king will have met the Scottish Prime Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and went to the Scottish Parliament for a condolence session. From the end of the afternoon, the public will be able to come and meditate in front of the coffin, which will rest in the cathedral until the next day.
