The first attempt of the TF1 group to be broadcast again with the subscribers of the Canal+group, the latter having refused in early September the increase in the price requested to broadcast the TF1, TMC, LCI, TF1 films and TFX channels, failed.
The Commercial Court dismissed Thursday, September 22, TF1 of its appeal in summary proceedings requesting that the subscribers TNT SAT – The Bouquet of TV by Satellite of Canal+ which allows to receive TNT in white areas and has 2 million Customers-can again receive the signal from its channels, according to the judgment order consulted by the France-Presse agency.
This procedure is only part of the conflict between the two groups and does not concern the areas where TNT is accessible or, another example, the dissemination of TF1 channels on the MyCanal online platform. The different broke out when Canal+ ceased to disseminate the TF1 channels in early September, for lack of financial agreement for the renewal of their contract.
