Legislative 2022: results of second round in constituencies of French from abroad

The camp of Emmanuel Macron has managed to maintain his domination among expatriates, winning almost all of the eleven constituencies of the French from abroad.

  • In the 2 e district (Latin America and Caribbean), the presidential party candidate, Eléonore CAROIT, obtains 57.42 % of the votes while the “rebellious” (NUPES) Christian Rodriguez brought together 42.58 % of the votes. In the first round, Ms. CAROIT had come to the lead (34.57 %) and Mr. Rodriguez had obtained 28.20 %.
  • In the 3 e district (northern Europe), the outgoing deputy, Alexandre Holroyd (LRM) retains his seat in the National Assembly thanks to his 55.87 % in the second round. Charlotte Minvielle (Nuts), her opponent harvested only 44.13 % of the votes. In the first round, he had garnered 38.51 % of the votes, ahead of the 31.46 % of the ecologist.
  • In the 4 e district (Benelux), Pieyre-Alexandre Anglade, candidate for his re-election invested by LRM, obtained 55.15 % of the votes. He thus beats the socialist Cécilia Gondard (Nuts), who collected 44.85 %.
  • In the 5 e district (Spain, Portugal, Monaco and Andorra), where Manuel Valls (Ensemble!) was a candidate, it is the Nuts, with the ecologist Renaud Le Berre, who had arrived at the head last Sunday with 27.89 % of the votes, in front of the outgoing deputy, Stéphane Vojetta, who had obtained 24.60 %. This time, it is the dissident LRM who wins by bringing together 57.26 % of the votes against his opponent.
  • In the 6 e district (Switzerland and Liechtenstein), the economist and close to Emmanuel Macron Marc Ferracci is elected deputy thanks to his victory (64.97 %) before the candidate of the NUPES, the “Insoumise” Magali Mangin (35.03 %). In the first round, he had obtained 36.49 % of the votes, against 20.28 % for Ms. Mangin.
  • In the 7 e district (central Europe), the outgoing deputy, Frédéric Petit (MoDem), retains his seat thanks to the 60.21 % obtained in front of his competitor, Asma Rharmaoui-Clain ( Clutas) which only convinced 39.79 % of voters. Last Sunday, he won the first round, with 34.58 % of the votes, ahead of the candidate of the Nuts and her 26.06 % of the votes.
  • In the 8 e district, which includes Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel, the outgoing deputy, Meyer Habib (UDI), is re-elected against Deborah Abisror-de Lieme (LRM) which obtained 49.42 % of the votes cast against 50.58 % for Mr. Habib.
  • In the 9 e district (Maghreb and West Africa), the candidate of generation, invested by the Nuts, Karim Ben Cheikh, wins his seat as a deputy in front of the Former minister for gender equality, Elisabeth Moreno (together!). He obtained 54.07 % of the votes against 45.93 % for his opponent. It was also the order of arrival in the first round that Mr. Ben Vheikh had largely won (39.99 %) before the former minister who had obtained 28.06 %.
  • In the 10 e district (Near East and Africa), the outgoing, Amélia Lakrafi (Ensemble!), retains her mandate as deputy thanks to the 63.58 % of the voters who voted for It against 36.42 % for Chantal Moussa (Nuts). In the first round, the outgoing deputy had fired in the lead with more than ten points ahead and her 32.74 % against 22.53 % m me moussa.
  • The 11 e district (Eastern Europe, Asia and Oceania, 49 countries) sees the outgoing deputy, Anne Genetet (set!) Re -elected with 61.73 % of the votes. His opponent, Dominique Vidal, the candidate of the Nuts, obtained 38.27 %.
