During this second round of the legislative elections, he obtained 64.63 % of the votes against 35.37 % for the “rebellious” candidate of the new ecological and social popular union, Elsa Bourgeard, in the 1st district of Lot.

In the first round, the outgoing deputy had obtained 45.46 % of the votes against 22.26 % for his opponent. She was able to count in the second round on the postponement of part of the votes of the socialist dissident Rémi Branco who had finished third and collected 16.72 % of the votes. But that was not enough.

After the first round, Mr. Pradié had explained his score, and the resistance of LR in these legislative elections, by their “local anchoring”. “We talk a lot about local anchoring, it is not a detail, he had advanced. This is what saves a certain idea of ​​politics, which is also a matter of human relations.”

“Break with sarkozysm”
