The Chairman of the European Parliament David Sassololi died, previously hospitalized due to serious problems with the immune system. This is on Tuesday, January 11, reports TASS.

On January 10, a spokesman for Sassoli Roberto Killo reported that the policy was hospitalized in Italy on December 26.

In December, 65-year-old politician announced that he would not again expose his candidacy for the elections of the head of the European Parliament. Prior to that, in September 2021, he was hospitalized with inflammation of the lungs in Strasbourg (it was not caused by COVID-19).
