NATO’s policy will eventually lead to the collapse of the North Atlantic Alliance, President Iran Ibrahim Raisi said. This fate of the Alliance Iranian president predicted during a speech in the Russian State Duma, the broadcast of which is available on the site of the lower house of parliament.
According to Raish, the Alliance penetrates on the territory of other countries, hiding behind various pretexts. “[NATO] threatens independent states, spreading the Western model. Behavior that will ultimately lead to decay,” said Raisi.
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Raish in the Kremlin on January 19. This is the first visit of Raisi to Moscow from the date of entry into position in August last year. They discussed US sanctions, bilateral relations between Russia and Iran, in particular, an increase in trade between two states, as well as the Iranian nuclear transaction.
