Lukashenko urged protesters in Kazakhstan to kneel before military

Protesters in Kazakhstan must go to a constructive dialogue with the authorities until they went too far. This was stated in his appeal to the participants of the riots, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports Telegram-channel “Pool of the First”.

Belarusian leader noted that the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev is a person who is ready for negotiations. “This is a normal person, a diplomat with whom you can agree, very clever, educated,” he concluded.

Lukashenko reminded the citizens of Kazakhstan that “these are their country, and they will not have another country.” According to him, the recovery of the state after the coup will require huge resources. Politician called on the participants of the riots to kneel and apologize to the military to smooth out the public split.

The riots in Kazakhstan began due to the increase in fuel prices – the car gas began to cost 120 instead of 60 tenge per liter (the price rose from 10 to 20 rubles). The President of the Republic appealed to the Organization of Treaty on Collective Security (CSTO).
