Premier Sweden resigned a few hours after election

After the exit of the “green” faction from the Government of Sweden, the Prime Minister and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Magdalena Anderssson resigned. She was elected to his post just a few hours before. This is reported by the Swedish radio station Radio Sweden.

“New Effect Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Andersson resigned in just a few hours after the prime minister was elected during the parliamentary vote,” the report says. This happened due to the fact that Swedish Rixdag did not support the draft budget proposed by the government, but chose the opposition budget vote.

Earlier it was reported that Magdalena Andersson became the first in the history of Sweden a woman-head of government. Prior to that, she held the post of Finance Minister. Anderson for several days could not reach an agreement with the leader of the left party of Noshi Dadgostar, however, by November 23, she received support for the necessary 175 RIXDAG deputies.
