The Baikonur cosmodrome continues to prepare for the launch of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier missile with the Soyuz MS-20 piloted ship. On Monday, preparation for the piloted start will continue. In the afternoon, the general tests of the carrier missile will be held, during which the start and its flight is mimicing to the branch of the ship on the target orbit.

At the same time in the test training and training complex of the Center for the Training of Cosmonauts named after Yu.A. Gagarin continues to prepare the main and duplicating crews of the ship “Union MS-20”. Within the framework of the preparatory program with astronauts and participants in the space flight, classes onboard documentation and ballistics of the upcoming flight are held, as well as practical sessions for working with cameras.

In addition, there is a training session in the program on the interaction of the ship’s crew with a search and rescue service. Traditionally, the main and duplicating crews are engaged daily prepare for space flight factors and medical examination.

Start of the “Soyuz-2.1A” launch vehicle with a piloted ship “Union MS-20” is scheduled for December 8, 2021 at 10:38 Moscow time. Flight to the International Space Station will be held along the four-wire scheme, docking to the small research module “Search” is scheduled at 16:41 Moscow time. The main crew of the ship includes: the commander Alexander Misurkin (Roscosmos) and the participants of the space flight – President of the Start Tuday Corporation, Yusaka Maesava and his personal assistant Jozo Hirano.
