On the Baikonur cosmodrome, the preparation of the transport piloted ship “Union MS-20” continues to the flight to the International Space Station under the contract with Space Adventures. Today, November 22, 2021, specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. Korolev (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”) and profile enterprises of Roskosmos began to conduct refueling operations.
The ship was delivered to the reference-neutralization station of the site No. 31 to refuel the combined motor installation with compressed gases and fuel components. After completion of the gas stages, the ship will return to the installation and test case of the site No. 254 for the final stage of preparation for starting.
The main crew of the Soyuz MS-20 ship includes: Commander Alexander Misurkin (Roscosmos) and the participants of the space flight – President of the Start Tuday Corporation, Yusaka Maesava and his personal assistant Jozo Hirano. Their dubers are a cosmonaut Roscosmos Alexander Skvortsov and Schun Ogiso. The start of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier missile with the piloted ship “Union MS-20” is scheduled for December 8, 2021.
