Researchers have found a connection between stroke and vitamin deficiency

Researchers from Jones Hopkins University found a link between low vitamin D in the body and the risk of stroke development, reports Edition Express.

According to researchers, Vitamin D affects heart health and vessels: its lack increases the risk of acute impaired blood supply to the brain twice. Vitamin D is also associated with immunity, metabolism and operation of other key systems in the human body.

This component appears in the epidermis of the skin due to the impact of ultraviolet rays, so its deficit is often found at the inhabitants of those countries where there is little sunlight. Doctors told that during the winter months, Vitamin D can be obtained from food: fatty fish, beef liver, eggs and yogurt.

Previously, scientists stated that the introduction of vitamin C intravenously affects the body’s struggle with coronavirus. Experts concluded that vitamin C increases the rate of recovery from coronavirus by 70 percent compared with placebo.
