The Federal Network Agency announced, Tuesday, November 16, the temporary suspension of the North Stream 2 approval procedure, the controversial pipeline between Russia and Germany, evoking a legal obstacle.
North Stream 2 certification, which is one of the ultimate steps before commissioning, “is only possible if the operator is organized in a legal form of German law,” writes authority in a press release.
