“I want everyone to know him. We have nothing to do with it,” said Vladimir Putin to the Vesti string . The Russian President has been accused this week, by Western voices, to have orchestrated with Minsk the sending of migrants to the Eastern border of the European Union (EU).

Thousands of people wanting to rally Europe, originally from the Middle East, are blocked on the border between Belarus and Poland, in very difficult conditions.

The EU accuses Belarus for organizing this influx in response to Western penalties. The Europeans have been trying for several days to stop these movements by stopping flights to Minsk, greeting “progress” Friday.

accused of being the “sponsor” of “L ‘ Attack “

In his interview, Vladimir Putin said that European leaders were to go directly to the Belarusian President Alexander Loukachenko to solve this crisis. “From what I understood, Alexander Loukachenko and [the German Chancellor Angela] Merkel are ready to talk to each other”, launched the Russian president. “I hope it will happen in the near future,” he added.

Polish Prime Minister Morset Morawiecki had accused the Russian President earlier this week to be the “sponsor” of “the attack” attributed to Alexandre Lukashenko.

In pressure, Mr. Lukashenko may, for the moment, rely on the support of his main ally, Vladimir Putin. Friday, Russian and Belarus airborne troops led exercises near the border between Belarus and Poland.

However, when Mr. Loukachenko brandished the threat of closing the valves of a large Russian pipeline, transiting on his soil, to Europe, in case of new European sanctions, Moscow hastened to ensure Europeans that deliveries would continue normally.
