Polish security workers were again caught in an attempt to transfer the group of illegal migrants across the border with Belarus. This is reported by the press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus in Facebook.
According to the department, the Poles brought 20 refugees on the border cars to expel them from the country. Border guards added that in order to displacing illegal immigrants, representatives of the border guardian guards partially dismantled the fence established on the Polish territory.
Despite the fact that the Polish military forced foreigners to move the line of the border, people continued to stay in Poland and refused to go through a dismantled barrage, noted in Belarus.
The attempt of expulsion ended in failure with the arrival at the place of the incident of Belarusian border guards. As a result, the Poles took migrants and took them in an unknown direction.
On October 15, the Seimas of Poland adopted amendments about the expulsion of migrants, illegally crossing the country’s border, as well as the law on the construction of a protective structure worth 353 million euros on the border with Belarus.
Parliament voted for the fact that migrants who ignoraly crossing the border were detained on the spot should leave Poland. They may ban entry for a period of six months to three years.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began after in May of this year, Alexander Lukashenko president threatened to weaken the control over the flow of illegal and drug trafficking. Poland and the Baltic countries accuse Lukashenko to use migrants from the Middle East as a hybrid weapon against the EU.
