Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with the new prime minister of Japan Fumio Kisida’s conclusion of a peace treaty. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tosimitsa Motagi.

According to him, during a telephone conversation, the leaders of the two countries confirmed the agreement to confidently continue negotiations on this issue. The Minister, answering the question of the influence of the vice-premiers of Russia Dmitry Grigorenko and Marat Husnullin on the Kuril Island of Itupur to the negotiation process, assured that the parties would not stop him.
