Wedding of Japanese princess and commoner caused protests of citizens

Princess Mako, the eldest daughter of the Crown Prince Japan Akisino, married the versatul – his classmate to Kai Komoo. Thus, it deprives title and will no longer be a member of the imperial family. Her decision caused a perturbation from conservative Japanese: on the wedding day there was a small protest action in Tokyo, NHK writes.

Princess refused from the dowry – a large amount of money, which relied upon her in marriage. She plans to leave in the USA along with her husband who was trained at a lawyer and settled in an American legal company.

Japanese society believes that the Crown Prince, despite the public support for his daughter’s free choice, is actually poorly belonging to this marriage. In many ways, the critical attitude towards the wedding is caused by a scandal, affected by the family of the groom: his mother allegedly took the money from a man who had groomed to marry her, and refused to return them. Including this story indicated posters of protested citizens in Tokyo – they had portraits of hostility and his mother.

Earlier it was reported that a mental disorder was diagnosed shortly before the wedding.
