Five tons of cocaine seized in port of Rio de Janeiro

The Federal Police of Brazil seized about five tons of cocaine in containers in the port of the Central District of Rio de Janeiro. It is reported by Extra Globo.

According to the publication, the drug was hidden inside the boxes for powder soap. The vessel on which the prohibited substance was discovered should be in Spain through Mozambique.

It is noted that shortly before the departure of the vessel, police warned about the transportation of cocaine in a telephone call. The source of Brazilian law enforcement agencies is not disclosed. The seized party is the largest in the history of the city.

Earlier it was reported that in the ruins of the historic castle in Eyrshire in Scotland, there were several hundred kilograms of cocaine. A drug dealer, presumably involved in the concealment of a batch of prohibited substance, detained. Cocaine discovered one of the locals during garbage harvesting in the castle.
