US: refused to “advance” to remove sanctions from Iran

US refuses to “advance” to remove sanctions with Iran before reaching agreement on restarting the nuclear transaction. This was stated by a high-ranking official of the Washington administration, his words lead RIA Novosti.

He pointed out that the parties are counting on renewing negotiations in Vienna to return a joint comprehensive action plan (UNDPD), which previously refused the previous American leader Donald Trump, turning to the “maximum pressure” policy.

“We did not remove any sanctions. We will not pay an advance, and gave it to clearly understand,” the representative of the administration emphasized, adding that the situation was degraded after the breakdown of the agreements on the withdrawal of sanctions in exchange for the limitation of Iran’s nuclear program.

The official added that the United States still bet on diplomacy, but do not exclude other methods to prevent the appearance of nuclear weapons in Tehran. The application was made on the eve of the meeting of the American president’s adviser on the National Security of Jake Sullivan with Israeli counterpart Eyall Hulata. It is planned that the parties will discuss efforts to coordinate action against Iran.

Earlier in the State Department stated that the Iranian government did not decide on a nuclear transaction and does not plan to return to negotiations. Washington called on Tehran as soon as possible to start a dialogue on nuclear weapons, as the possibilities for this are hard.

Iran’s CFD contract was concluded in the summer of 2015 between Tehran and six intermediary countries. Later, Iran was caught in gross violations of agreements. In early May 2018, the United States announced a unilateral exit from the transaction and the resumption of anti-Iranian sanctions. Iran reported a refusal to agreements on CRPD in January 2020.
