Afghanistan: price of drugs took off

Drug prices in the black market of Afghanistan rose at times with the arrival of the Militants of the Radical Movement of the Taliban (prohibited in Russia). This is reported by Edition The Times of India.

The price of opium from which heroin makes, soared more than three times. The local seller said that now about 25 thousand Pakistani rupees ($ 146) is obtained per kilogram, while during the past government the price did not rise above 7.5 thousand rupees (44 dollars).

Sellers bind a rapid rise in price with possible lack of substances in the future. According to Afghanistan, the rumor has spread that the Taliban intend to prohibit the cultivation of opium poppy.

Previously, the Taliban asked Russia to help in the elimination of all drug trains. As RIA Novosti passed, the new Afghan authorities seek to stop the smuggling of drugs and count on the help of Moscow in this matter, since the world and stability in the region also in the interests of Russia.
