Microsoft has released the second generation of the Surface Duo smartphone. This is reported by the publication GSM Arena.
Announced Device received the same form factor that has an original model. Surface Duo 2 has two halves with independent displays connected to the hinge. In the folded state on the door of the device, a strip screen manifests itself, to which notifications and background information are displayed.
The device received two amoled displays with a diagonal of 5.8 inches with a resolution of 1892×1344 pixels. In the unfolded state, they form one 8.3-inch screen by resolution of 2688×1892 pixels. Displays are covered with protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and have a maximum brightness of 800 yarns. There is also support for the display frequency of the picture up to 90 hertz.
Surface Duo 2 is based on the flagship chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with support for 5G. The model comes with eight gigabytes of RAM LPDDR5 and a capacity of up to 512 gigabytes. On the rear panel there is a triple camera with lenses with a resolution of 12, 12, and 16 megapixels. The phone allows you to record 4K videos with a frequency of up to 60 frames per second.
The device has a battery with a capacity of 4449 million hours with support for a quick charging with a capacity of 23 watts. The device works on the Android OS 11. The cost of the smartphone is $ 1,500 or about 110 thousand rubles.
