The court on the island of Sardinia in Italy decided to free the former head of the Government of Catalonia Carles Puchdemon from custody. It is reported by the EFE Agency.
Lawyer Politics Agrostantezhelo Marras said that the specified decision was made by the Court of Appeal of the Sardinian Sassari city. At the same time, Puchdenemon was banned from leaving the island in the coming days, until the end of the proceedings on his situation. According to the lawyer, the court recognized his detention to meet the norms of the law.
