The average size of an old-age insurance pension will be 18,521 rubles next year. This amount of payments called the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatiana Golikova, reports TASS.
From February 1, the amount of monthly payments for 14.5 million Russians will be indexed by 5.8 percent, she noted. In 2023 and 2024, payments will grow by four percent, respectively. Insurance pensions of non-working retirees were indexed by 6.3 percent from January 1 and on average, up to 17,443 rubles.

Earlier, on September 23, the Russian government issued a negative conclusion on the bill on indexing pensions to working retirees. The authorities noted that indexation will require additional costs, but in the financial and economic justification, it is not specified in which sources and in what order help will be provided.
