European Parliament raised question of principles of assistance to Afghanistan

At the same time, the provision of financial support will depend on such factors as the protection of democracy, human rights and social progress in this country. He also recalled that EU was previously decided to increase the amount of funds intended to assist in need of residents of Afghanistan and refugees.

In connection with this, the European Parliamentary raised the question of how the new Afghan regime was assessed in the European Commission indicated above the principles. Beck asked whether the constantly growing budget was fully emitted to help Afghanistan, the expenses for granting asylum by Afghan refugees.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission of Ursula von der Lyien stated that instead of 50 million euros, the European Union will put 200 million euros in support of the people of Afghanistan. Help will be rendered to Afghans who are both in the territory and outside of their country.
