Many resistance fighters had to be returned to high-mountainous areas. It is noted that due to the tense situation and incessant shelling from the Taliban, most of the inhabitants of the region had to leave their homes and go high to the mountains. The source also confirmed that the Talibans managed to capture the office of the provincial governor, as well as the Mausoleum of Ahmad Shah Masuda, the father of the current leader of the militia of Ahmad Masuda.
On September 6, the spokesman for the radical movement “Taliban” Zabilella Mujahid said that the war in Afghanistan was over. According to him, the resistance strength is crushed, part of the rebels fled from the province.
