“Probably, we will remain in shortage of the coming months or even years, because semiconductors use very large demand,” the general director of Volkswagen predicted. He was supported by the head of Daimler (Mercedes-Benz Head Company) Ola Callenius. On the first after a pandemic of the Motor Show in Munich, he warned that the shortage of the chip could last until 2023.
