India: a boy died due to outbreak of a dangerous virus

Due to the outbreak of a dangerous Nipach virus in the Indian state of Kerala died 12-year-old boy. This is reported by the NDTV TV channel.

On June 27, 2021, scientists of the National Institute of Virology of India for the first time discovered the virus of the Nipas (NIV) virus. This virus causes respiratory diseases in people, in some cases, such heavy symptoms as brain inflammation.

The virus is recognized as the most dangerous of the World Health Organization (WHO). It was previously recorded in the Indian states of West Bengal (2001 and 2007) and Kerala (2018 and 2019).
