Taliban promised to give women positions in government

“We will have positions for women in compliance with the laws of Sharia. This is the beginning, but we will find the place for women. They will be able to be part of the government. It will be our second stage,” said Mujahid.

Before that, a resident of Kabul took a protest in Kabul demanding to ensure the participation of women in the country management. In the afternoon, the Taliban declared the composition of the temporary government and actually excluded such an opportunity.

Earlier, the Taliban declared the intention to spend general elections in Afghanistan. It is specified that the participation in the elections will take different layers of the local population.
