The European Commission will try to stop the commission of the Russian gas pipeline “Northern Stream-2” into operation. The deputy of the European Parliament from the “Green” fraction Reinhard Budichepher stated in an interview with DPA.
According to him, if the European Commission can prove that the decision of the Federal Network Agency of Germany on the commissioning of the gas pipeline violates energy legislation of the European Union (EU), the Russian project “can turn into an investment ruin.”
BUTICHER also noticed that the Russian side has not yet fulfilled the terms of the Anbandling and did not produce the separation of production and transportation of gas on the highway between organizations.
