Hurricane forced United States to buy Russian oil

Because of the Hurricane “Ida”, the United States is forced to buy more oil from Russia, since 77 percent of mining capacity in the Gulf of Gulf closed, Bloomberg writes.

Assessing the publication, this hurricane inflicted the greatest damage to the US energy sector than any other over the past 13 years. For example, the ROYAL DUTCH Shell, the West Delta-143 refinery station was injured – through it the majority of the Gulf of the Gulf-produced oil is pumped on the coast.

The price of oil brand Urals reached a sevenxian maximum. On September 8, a discount on it compared to the price of the Dated Brent brand was $ 1.05 per barrel. Barrel Urals URALS was cheaper than an American brand by 1.95 dollars. Growing demand forced the American side to increase imports of raw materials from Russia.

Russia in May overtook Mexico and became the second in the world among the largest exporters of oil and petroleum products in the United States. The country has delivered 26.17 million barrels of oil, which has become an absolute record for Russia in the US market.

US purchases by Russian oil in January – May increased by 78 percent in price terms compared to the same period last year (from $ 3.8 billion to 6.7 billion dollars).
