In United States, justified punched woman-veteran of a policeman

In the United States, police officer was justified, which during the assault capitol on January 6 shot the veteran of the US Air Force Ashley Babbit. This is reported by TV channel Fox News.

Capitol Police (PC) did not punish an officer, since during the internal investigation did not reveal any violations. In the management of professional responsibility, we considered the murder of a veteran woman, as it “corresponded to the Department’s Policy.”

The department claims that the officer, whose personality is not disclosed, could apply weapons, because “reasonably” believed that the action was aimed at protecting human life. “If the doors were hacked, the rebels would receive immediate access to the House of Representatives,” the United States Capitol Police reports.

Ashley Babitt received a gunshot wound into the chest in the building of the Capitol, after which she died in the hospital. Her husband told that she served in the US Air Force for 14 years and was a high-ranking security officer.

In January, the officer who shot the baby was sent on vacation to the end of the investigation. His powers were suspended until the results of a joint investigation of the department of metropolitan police and the US PC.
