Specialists of the Scientific Institute “RN-CIR” and the Angarsk plant of catalysts and organic synthesis (included in Rosneft) presented the first batch of diesel fuel with improved low-temperature properties. About this “Lent.Ru” reported in the company “Rosneft”.
A batch includes two types of fuel – winter and arctic, which are manufactured using a catalytic system containing a unique serow-resistant catalyst for the basis of noble metals. The catalytic system is developed in the “pH cirma” and contains a serow-resistant catalyst that allows you to combine the processes of hydrotreating and isodovapinization of straight-rich diesel fractions in one reactor, which significantly reduces capital and operating costs. Currently, a similar catalyst is offered only by one company in the world, which causes a high degree of dependence of our country from a foreign supplier.
The current innovative development program of Rosneft is aimed at replacing imported technologies in the production of high-quality petroleum products. One of the main tasks of the program is to the transition of Rosneft refineries for the use of highly efficient own production catalysts, which avoids the risks of dependence on the supply of foreign products. Catalysts are produced at the company’s factories in Angarsk, Novokuibyshevsk and Sterlitamak.
The development of technological potential is one of the key elements of the Rosneft-2022 strategy. The company pays priority attention to innovation, defining technological leadership as a key competitiveness factor in the oil market.
