Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an increase in mineral extraction tax (NDPI) from 2022. His words report RIA Novosti.
New rules will take effect from January 1 and will affect the metallurgical industry, the president clarified.
Previously, the likelihood of increasing NPPI for metallurgists, which affects both precious metals, discussed in the government as one of the proposals for the “mobilization of income” of the federal budget in the period of 2022-2024. At the same time, last year, NPPI during the extraction of ferrous and non-ferrous metals increased by 3.5 times. At the end of June, the government also approved a sharp increase in the export of ferrous and non-ferrous metals by the end of the year.
