Head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Central Committee of Korea and the younger sister of the leader of the DPRK KIM Chen Yana Kim E Zhon advised the United States to be more careful in the interpretation of signals from Pyongyang to avoid disappointments. Her statement published the Central Telegraph Agency of North Korea.
“It seems that the United States interrupts the situation in such a way as to calm themselves. If you make a mistake in your expectations, you will be disappointed even more,” said Kim E Jong.
On June 20, US President’s Assistant on National Security Jake Sullivan on the air ABC TV channel said that Washington found an interesting statement by Kim Jong about the readiness of the DPRK and to Dialogue, and to the confrontation with the United States. His words leads TASS.
He noted the readiness for bilateral consultations, the purpose of which is the complete nuclear disarmament of the Korean Peninsula. The adviser to the American leader added that the White House expects a “clear signal” from Pyongyang in readiness for a dialogue, but intends to wait to find out whether further messages will follow “for potential move forward.”
Earlier, Kim Chen Yun said that the DPRK should be ready for the maintenance of the Dialogue with the US government and the possible confrontation. He also called for the strengthening of the “stable control” of the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
