The participants of the All-Russian competitions “Your stroke” and “big change” visited the new Russian cosmodrome in the Amur region. For thirty schoolchildren and students from different regions of Russia, the excursion was held by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, Director General of Roskosmos State Corporation Dmitry Rogozin, Governor of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov and Hero of Russia, Cosmonaut Roscosmos Alexander Skvortsov.
The guys visited the starting complex for Soyuz-2 launch vehicles, inspected the mobile service tower and the command post, and the second site under construction under a new heavy rocket “Angara”. At the technical complex in the assembly and test case, they were able to see the two “Soyuz-2.1b” carrier packages, which is planned in the near future. In the assembly and test case of spacecraft, the guys were observed for the process of coming the head fairing.
Next, the guys went to the Amur gas processing plant. The Amur Region has become the first Far Eastern region, which visited the participants of the All-Russian competitions “Your stroke” and “big change”. According to the plans, the guys will familiarize themselves with mega projects that are implemented in the Far Eastern Federal District.
