Belarus: compared new sanctions with Hitler’s aggression

In the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, the introduction of a new sanctuction package against the republic was compared with German attack on the USSR on June 22, 1941. Press release published on the official website of the department.

The department considered the “blasphemian” introduction of a new package of Western sanctions against the republic on the day of memory and sorrow on June 22.

“Another sanction aggression is unleashed by a group of Western countries on the day of memory and grief, when 80 years ago,” United Europe “headed by Hitler’s Germany attacked the Soviet Union,” the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

The statement of European diplomacy that, with the help of EU restrictive measures, “sends a signal to the people of Belarus” to the Foreign Ministry called “frank mockery, a mockery of logic and common sense.” The agency believes that sanctions negatively affect the interests of citizens, and the Belarusian people are made by a landfill for dissatisfied ambitions of European politicians.

Among the latter are the largest automotive companies in Belarus, MAZ and BelAZ, as well as a new oil company and Beareronavigation, a new oil company and Bearer Navigation. The reason for the sanctions was continuing, according to Brussels, violation of human rights in Belarus, as well as forced landing of the Irish Ryanair aircraft at Minsk airport on May 23.

Simultaneously with the European Union restrictions against Minsk introduced the United States. The sanctions list entered, among others, the commander of the special unit of the KGB of Belarus “Alpha” Sergey Zubkov. In addition, its sanctions introduced the United Kingdom and Canada.
