Space center specialists (branch of the center of exploitation of land space infrastructure) and the Progress Rocket and Space Center (Roscosmos State Corporation) in the assembly and test case of the carrier missile opened operations for unloading the components of the rocket “Soyuz-2.1b” and started to build them in a “package” (first and second steps).
This rocket is designed for the upcoming commercial start from the eastern cosmodrome. The overclocking block “Frigate” for this mission is located at refueling at a refill-neutralization station.
On the eve of the blocks of two “Soyuz-2.1b” carrier missiles, as well as two head fairing, intended for commercial starts, arrived on the east on a special railway line. Specialists of the Space Center “Eastern” transported them to a unified technical complex. The joint start-up calculation has begun work with parts of one of the arrivals of carrier missiles, the second will be in storage mode before work.
The next party from 36 ONEB spacecraft from the Eastern cosmodrome will be the fifth fully commercial start-up, implemented by the French company Arianespace for OneWeb from the Russian cosmodrome and the tenth from the Eastern cosmodrome.
