Russia and Pakistan signed an agreement on the construction of the Pakistan Flow gas pipeline. This is reported by TASS.
As explained in the Russian Ministry of Energy, the project is needed to “help the Pakistani side to strengthen their own energy security and increase the use of natural gas as an environmentally friendly energy source.” The department added that the project implementation will begin in the near future, but the exact time has not yet been called as alleged costs for the project.
The length of the gas pipeline must be 1,100 kilometers, and the bandwidth is 12.4 billion cubic meters per year.
