A policeman who poisoned by the “newcomer” in Salisbury, sued the local police commander. Reports about it The Guardian.

Police Sergeant Wiltshira Nick Bailey (Nick Bailey) participated in the investigation of the attempted murder of Sergey and Julia Skripals. In the course of work in the house of the victims, he was poisoned by a chemical, touching the door handle.

After poisoning, the officer spent a lot of time in the hospital and long restored health. A year later, he returned to the police service, but soon quit and stated that he could not do his job anymore.

After that, Bailey filed a lawsuit to the Supreme Court on the main constable Police of Wiltcher. Shortly before going to court, the policeman’s wife reported that he was still struggling for receiving part of his pension. The claim for injuries was served in the category “Accidents at work”.

The officer’s lawyer stated that his client survived the injury that was destroyed by his family and forced him to leave his beloved job after 18 years of service. “We hope to quickly come to an agreement with Wiltshire Police, so that Mr. Bailey and his family can continue treatment and live on,” he added.

In March 2018, on the street in the British city of Salisbury, unaware of a former employee of GRU Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia were found unconscious. In London, they stated that they were poisoned by the neuro-paralytic substance “Novice”. The British side considers the Russian leadership involved in what happened. Moscow denies the charges.
