President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Minister of Health to Dmitry Pineveching to accelerate the development of a domestic vaccine from Coronavirus and promised that it would become the “best” in the world, Bleste writes.
According to him, the Belarusian drug must be developed as soon as possible, as the Belarusians already know the “something” and can use the experience of Russia, Europe and China. “We need to stand on the shoulders to those who have already done it, and make a good vaccine. If it turns out a reliable, high-quality – 98-99 percent of the guarantee – it will be a breakthrough,” said Lukashenko.
he added that his own vaccine should appear in Belarus next year, and until then, the authorities plan to instill at least 60 percent of the population by foreign drugs. “It is necessary – add more. But the purchase vaccine and which we will produce on Russian technologies,” the politician noted.
Previously, the Belarusian enterprise “BelmedPreparati” launched the industrial production of the Russian vaccine from Coronavirus “Satellite V”. The plant completed all the preparatory activities and plans to produce up to 500 thousand doses per month. The trial series of the Russian drug in the country was released on February 26.
