China’s friendship with Europe called USA under threat

China’s friendship with Europe within the framework of a newly large-scale investment agreement concluded, which many have considered as cooperation called the United States, was threatened after mutual claims of the parties, writes CNBC.

In recent weeks, political tensions are growing between Beijing and Brussels. The European Union introduced personal sanctions against four Chinese officials and one organization, accusing them in violation of human rights, in particular, in the oppression of Uigurs in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous District.

China, in turn, announced the response measures against the EU. The sanction list of Beijing includes ten people and four organizations, after which Brussels warned about a possible refusal to ratify the December transaction, the negotiations on which were held since 2013.

It implies the abolition of many restrictions and facilitating mutual access of Chinese and European business to each other markets in some industries, including technologies, electric cars and telecommunications.

Agreement caused criticism from the United States and their new president Joe Bayiden, thanks to which many analysts were considered as an attempt to make disagreements to US-European cooperation.
